I am an Interior Designer for 5 years now and I am excited to be part of Design N’ Construction team.
For me writing a review always starts from looking at design books and articles but I was looking at Design N’ Construction Instagram page and I came across a designer and loved the way they sketch, render and shade their sketches and hand drawings. As a Interior designer, I really do appreciate designers and architects who still love to use their hand skills to express their ideas and they combine both hand and computer skills to communicate their project to the world.
Ayssbagram has such an amazing steps of her sketches and drawings. There are many techniques and tools that can be used to render a space or an interior. I can see that this designer is carefully choosing materials and even sometimes combines items in the drawing (building + tea ‘photo below’) to demonstrate the thought and the aspects of the power of rendering. Some skills that can be seen is that the designer is familiar with Perspective drawings either from an area or an object. Considering on an texture or an item to draw is a good start for beginners too as you can consider every step and details to understand sketching and of course sketch a realistic outcome.
Simple forms are drown in the facade sketch which is very important. This designers is demonstrating that she or he understands how complex are formed by very simple forms but the rendering technique made it more detailed and sketchier! This can demonstrate that a beautiful sketch does not have to be always detailed but it can be simple but combined with rendering technique. What else stands out from Ayssbagram’s sketches is choice of warm colours; They stand out and they are bold and realistic.
I believe the designer used some tricks as well, for example in some parts of the sketch I can see the use of whiteout pen to demonstrate lighting and layers of a blind, very smart and again a great tool to demonstrate that compare to a white pen.
Happy to found this designer and would defiantly be happy to invite her to our group too.
